Shiri’s love of real estate began as a child when she would accompany her father, a property manager, to open houses in the Bay Area. The attraction to being involved in working with people and their homes led Shiri to managing her parents’ rentals in Berkeley, even extending to the island of Kauai. From these early experiences, she gained valuable insights into the care and knowledge agents provide clients in matching their needs to available properties.
A Santa Cruz County resident since 1998, Shiri is an active volunteer/leader for numerous community organizations, and has a proven track record of building strong and lasting relationships with clients, a passion for customer service, creative problem-solving skills, and project management expertise. Shiri currently lives with her contractor husband and two children on the West Side of Santa Cruz; she has also lived in San Lorenzo Valley, Aptos, and downtown Santa Cruz – providing her with first-hand knowledge of the array of unique neighborhoods within Santa Cruz, and insights into the personality of surrounding communities.
With a degree in Community Studies from UC Santa Cruz, Shiri’s intimate knowledge of the community also comes from her active involvement and event planning for numerous non-profit and education-related organizations. She currently holds the position of President for the Delaveaga PTC (Parent Teacher Club), organizing their annual carnival fundraiser; she also serves on the board for Calvary Preschool. In March 2017 she was recognized by Second Harvest Food Bank as co-organizer of a community service event that raised hundreds of donations for local non-profits.
