Born and raised in Santa Cruz, Lauren “LJ” Gagnier knows the ins and outs of Santa Cruz County as well as anyone. Lauren got his first peek into Real Estate through his grandfather, Joseph Gagnier, who was a Real Estate Broker in the 1970s and 1980s. Lauren graduated from the California State University at Fullerton with a B.A. in Communications. After college, he was drafted in the 10th round of the Major League Baseball amateur player draft and went on to play baseball in the minor league of the Detroit Tigers organization for seven seasons. Once he finished his baseball career, Lauren decided to pursue his interest in Real Estate and got his license in 2012. His background as an athlete has driven him to be very motivated and passionate about the Real Estate industry. Lauren’s past experience working at Momentum A&E in Santa Cruz has helped him develop a base of satisfied clients.
Lauren has gotten to know the industry from personal experience as well, as he was the builder of his home in the Upper Westside of Santa Cruz. He has been through the subdivision/lot-line adjustment process through the City of Santa Cruz as well as the construction loan funding process, giving Lauren the knowledge of what a successful transaction entails for all parties involved.
Lauren currently lives in Santa Cruz with his wife, April, and their newborn son, Carter.
